Reimbursement

To have your sessions reimbursed I will prior to the first session need a prescription from your GP, following the criteria of your insurance company: it is a referral that indicates why you have been referred (e.g. ‘op vermoeden van DSM stoornis’) and it needs to show the AGB code of your GP. 

It is important to know that I work without contracts. This means that the percentage of refund depends on the policy of your insurance. Please see that you are informed about your specific situation. For an overview (in Dutch) of the present refund policy of the Dutch insurance companies you can have a look at the site of the contractvrije psycholoog. This overview does not grant you any rights, the insurance company determines. 

The ‘zorgprestatiemodel’ was introduced in the Netherlands in January 2022. Since then, invoices are made per session. I use the rates as determined by the Nza*. For a 60-minute session I charge 125 euros, a 90-minute intake (diagnosis) costs 214 euros.

After each session you will receive the invoice and a payment request via WhatsApp or email. You can submit this invoice to your health insurance company, which will reimburse you the percentage determined by them after settlement with any outstanding deductible excess (‘eigen risico’).

Rate without reimbursement

If you do not qualify for reimbursement, in most cases a reduced rate can be requested.

Partner-relationship therapy is not reimbursed within the Dutch healthcare system. 183 euros is charged for a 90 minutes partner-relationship session.

Cancellation policy

For scheduling and logistical reasons, we ask you to only change an appointment if there is really no other option.

If you cancel an appointment too late (that is, less than 24 hours in advance), you will be charged for the time reserved. This is not reimbursed by the health insurer. 

Mind you:

You are kindly invited to have taken notice of the herefore mentioned terms and conditions. By making your first appointment you confirm to be in agreement with them. This will be pointed out in the written appointment confirmation prior to the intake.
